The 12th Chapter of the book of Exodus talks about survival, survival granted by God. Nine other plagues have failed to convince Pharaoh that he should bend to God’s will. Not the locusts, or the darkness or the hail. But, the tenth plague was different. The tenth plague was death.
With God’s people surrounded by death on every side. We hear God tell Moses, “…Smear the blood of a lamb on your doorposts, and when I see the blood I will pass over you, and no plague shall destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. This day shall be a day of remembrance for you. You shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORD”
From that text I want to speak from the topic, A Passover People.
